On our day out in Edinburgh, we visited Museum Context, a quirky Harry Potter museum and store. After queuing for about 15 minutes, we were invited to explore three storeys packed full of Harry Potter merchandise, memorabilia and displays.
Museum Context is located in iconic Victoria Street, which is said to be the inspiration for Diagon Alley, where wizards bought their magical supplies.
The building itself was also quite interesting. Constructed in 1843, it was home to Robert Cresser’s brush shop for 131 years from 1873.
We also visited another Edinburgh Harry Potter inspiration – Greyfriars Kirkyard.
