Rosmead Garden featured in the movie Notting Hill, one of my favourite movies. William Thacker (Hugh Grant), who runs a bookshop on Portobello Road, is in a relationship with Major American movie star Anna Scott (Julia Roberts).

One evening they have been out to dinner at William's sisters house, and on the walk home decide to jump the fence of Rosmead Garden, a private garden only open to the residents who live around its perimeter. Sure enough the gates to Rosmead Garden, where it was filmed, were locked when we visited today, but from what we could see it looked as nice as it is portrayed in the movie!
