We stayed in the Remont Oxford Hotel for a night so we would be close by for our Oxford University walking tour the next morning.
The hotel started life as two large homes built in the late 1800s, which were later converted into a hotel and fully renovated. It was located in a suburban part of northern Oxford amongst lots of old trees and similar vintage houses.
Our room was quite quirky as it was in the roofline so we had skylight windows in the ceiling we could lift open which gave us a great view of the night sky – if only we had a telescope! You can just see these windows on the right of the photo.
We were treated to a delicious full English breakfast here too 😊
