Thursday was a busy day, starting off with a wander around stunning Ruthin Castle and gardens, followed by a walking tour of Holmes Chapel where Harry Styles grew up, then a long drive up to Scotland. We were caught up in a traffic jam at Carlisle, so arrived later at our hotel in Glasgow's CBD than planned. We also started to feel the effects of Storm Amy in the evening as heavy rain moved in.
