On Sunday we thought we would be travelling down from Edinburgh from our planned trip to the Highlands, however we had stayed in southern Scotland as Storm Amy was more severe in the north.
Instead, we were lucky to have the opportunity to take a day trip up into the Highlands where we visited a farm with Highland coos, passed through Perth and Inverness, and explored the village of Dornoch.
