We caught the Eurostar to Paris for the day on Monday 22 September. We had a lovely day out, and climbed the Eiffel Tower, took a cruise along the Seine River, bought lunch at a French Bakery, and visited the Arc de Triomphe and the Opéra Garnier theatre. 

The weather was mostly sunny and mild, though there were a few showers later in the afternoon. 

We travelled around the city on the underground train and buses, which were themselves quite an adventure!
