We stayed in the Garner Hotel Nottingham City Centre for one night, a modern hotel close to everything on offer.

Our room was on the top floor so we had a great view across the city. We were lucky to get photos in the afternoon when we arrived, the evening and at sunrise. 

It was here that we learned that fridges in UK motel rooms are not a thing - note to self, do not buy perishables unless they're going to be eaten straight away!
