Camden Market, London

Camden Market was just a short walk from Paddington Brown's on-screen house. There was a great range of stalls to choose from - a good place to find well-priced souvenirs 😊

The market has over 1,000 traders and is open every day. It is located in an old stables area built in 1856, near the Camden canal lock. The current day market was started as an arts and crafts fair in the 1970s, however a food market has been running on the site since the 1890s.

We also saw the memorial statue of singer Amy Winehouse, who lived in Camden Town up until she died in 2011.
