One of my favourite movies is Notting Hill, released in 1999. William Thacker (Hugh Grant) lives on Portobello Road and operates a travel bookshop. Major American movie star Anna Scott (Julia Roberts) walks in one day and the romantic story goes from there.

We visited the filming location of William's travel bookshop on Portobello Road today. It was a little tricky to photograph as there was a market stall out the front, but you get the idea!

We also went inside the store which is a souvenir shop, however the internal movie scenes were filmed in a studio - the store was only used for external shots.
